Sorry for the lack of posts over the last few days.
Frankly, it's going to happen every now and then. My family is going through a MAJOR transition period. Amy has gone back to work, for the first time since 2003, AND become the primary wage-earner for us, for the first time since the 1980's. Jesus has started college, as a freshman. AND, this last weekend, and the first part of this week, saw Brandon's wife, Stephanie, and her mother, Jeanine, move from here to ... where they are going. Jeannie is moving to Maryland to live with her sister. Steph flies to Germany on Saturday, to be with Brandon, from Baltimore. I get to deal with the movers for all of Brandon and Steph's stuff.
I'm a "night owl". Going to bed between 2 and 4 is normal for me, now.
To give you an example of the craziness of this week, on Tuesday night, I started trying to wrap things up and get to bed around 2. I, eventually, made it to bed about 11 Wednesday morning. By the time I got to bed, I was wiped out, and, so was Echo. No, she has not adapted to my sleep schedule. Wednesday morning was Echo's longest "exercise" walk, since we started them. It was about 45 minutes long. We walked Amy to her bus stop, for work, and back. Not only was the walk the longest (distance and time) that she has ever been on, it covered a lot of space that she had never seen before. Between the exercise, and the "brain work", she was a tired little puppy, by the time we were done. She did REALLY good. More on that later.
While I haven't written on the blog, a LOT of things have happened, AND we have been taking pictures and video.
I'm going to try to put everything I want to share (text, pictures and video) together as quickly as possible, just don't count on it all tonight.
She's getting bigger fast. I think it was Tuesday morning, when I got up, she looked noticeably larger than when I went to sleep.
