Video from September 10, 2012

I LOVE this.  This rope toy has become Echo's favorite.  This rope toy, when it was first purchased, was twice as long.  My wife and I bought it in the German-equivalent of a "PetSmart" store.

The rope was purchased for the two dogs in this picture:  Tasselhof (Tas (pronounced "tass")) and Radar.  Before our current dachshund was born.
Then, shortly before leaving Germany, we acquired Gimli.  ... Don't get me started about dachshunds, and their hunting background, ... especially in Germany.  ... But, he took over the rope.

He and the "old farts" (Tas and Radar) "jockeyed" over who would have control of the rope, for years.

Last year, it was, finally, so chewed up that I had to cut half of it off.

Now, when Echo sleeps in her crate, with the door open, she expects what remains of that rope to be there.  She uses it as a kind of pillow ... when she is not chewing on it.  And Gimli has let her have it.

I wish I could have given you video of Echo and the rope from a few minutes earlier, but my camera was not cooperating.  It's fun to watch.
